Northern Wide Plank aimed to create a premium print and digital publication that not only showcases their high-end wood flooring in exceptional spaces but also serves as a source of inspiration for design professionals and enthusiasts. The goal was to reinforce their brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, collaboration, and storytelling.

Norman Les collaborated with Northern Wide Plank (NWP) to create the Plank Album, a publication that highlights the artistry and craftsmanship of their flooring products. The project began with market research to identify differentiation opportunities, leading to the creation of an inspiring album that blends product showcase with brand storytelling.

Through strategic concept development, product and project photography, and carefully crafted layout and design, we ensured the album presented NWP’s products in an elevated, cohesive way. A key focus was maintaining color accuracy throughout the print management process, working closely with the printing team to ensure the images reflected the true hues and textures of NWP’s products.

The final Plank Album serves as both a visually compelling portfolio and a narrative-driven piece that elevates NWP’s positioning in the design industry. Distributed throughout Canada and USA, it highlights the beauty of their flooring in real-world applications while strengthening their connection with architects, designers, and end-users through an engaging and aspirational format.
